Assign a net profile for the managed {{page.citrix-adc-generic}} instance

When you enable analytics or metrics collector for the virtual servers in {{page.adm-product-name-short}}, the AppFlow or metrics data from the {{page.citrix-adc-generic}} is exported to {{page.adm-product-name-short}} through the {{page.citrix-adc-generic}} subnet IP address (SNIP). In some scenarios, the SNIP might be blocked because of the firewall in the network. In such scenarios, you might have to use a different IP address. For more information about net profile, see Use a specified source IP for back-end communication.
You can assign a net profile to a {{page.citrix-adc-generic}} instance through {{page.adm-product-name-short}} for exporting AppFlow data from {{page.citrix-adc-generic}} to {{page.adm-product-name-short}}.

Prerequisites

Ensure that:
  • The {{page.citrix-adc-generic}} instance version is 13.0-48.4 or later.
  • Net profile is configured in {{page.citrix-adc-generic}} instances.
To assign a net profile in {{page.adm-product-name-short}}:
  1. Navigate to Infrastructure > Instances > {{page.citrix-adc-generic}}.
  2. Select the instance, and from the Select Action list:
    • Click Configure Net Profiles to assign a net profile for AppFlow.
    • Click Configure Net Profiles for Metrics Collector to assign a net profile for metrics collector.
  3. Select a net profile from the list and click Apply.
Note:
  • For AppFlow, ensure that you disable analytics for all virtual servers before you assign a net profiles for the instance.
  • For Metrics Collector, ensure that you disable metrics for all virtual servers before you assign a net profiles for the instance.
